A word from
the original Wino herself…
Hi Friends,
I’m Emily Gladnick, the Owner and Founder of Wino Bottle Club. Let’s face it, I’m a total Wino. Of course, I love drinking wine…but I also I love geeking out on details about different regions and varietals, trying new wine flavors and pairing them with yummy foods.
My love of wine started before I even had my first sip. When I was young, my grandparents owned a vineyard on Pritchard Hill in St. Helena, CA and I adored spending time there, gathering with family on the deck, overlooking the vineyard and Lake Hennessey beyond.
As I grew older and started to enjoy wine, I began to appreciate, not just the aromas and flavors, but the way wine brings people together. It enhances occasions, elevates food, and heightens our senses, encouraging laughter and the sharing of ourselves with others. It comes from the earth, but is made by human artistry.
Everyone has their go-to bottles of wine. I admit, I fell hard for an oaky, buttery Chardonnay. But, I’ve also found that there is room in my life (and on my palate) for new, fun and interesting wines…varietals that pair perfectly with a certain dish or shine during a specific season. I decided to start curating my own selection of wines that truly spoke to me. I hope they speak to you too.
Starting Wino Bottle Club has been an adventure and a dream come true. I get to share my passion for wine and offer a way for people to discover new and exciting bottles of wine from the comfort of their own homes. So let’s pour a glass and toast to the beauty of wine!
Cheers,
Emily
